It is also alleged that ceramic dryers help prevent bacteria formation, which results in a much healthier scalp. Using a ceramic dryer also helps the hair resist the effects of adverse weather conditions (e.g., extreme sunlight, rain, wind, and dust), helps create a radiant texture and surface on one's hair.

This is a tricky one. Yes, you can.
But the fact that you've done one test and rejected it is going to seem a little weird. After all, if that were the case then you could try 10 tests, and choose the one with the best p-value. And then the p-values would be (almost) meaningless.
I would try to understand why that has happened. Your sample sizes are pretty different, and that can make the t-test prone to the homogeneity of variance assumption. Was that a pooled or an unpooled t-test?
The test for normality isn't very good with small samples, it doesn't have the power to detect non-normality.
The mann-whitney test assumes that the distributions are the same shape.
Finally, no one (should) quibble about the difference between 0.05 and 0.051.

I almost agree with Alex… there IS enough to go around, but the reason for inequality is not an inefficiency or inadequacy in some underlying system. Rather, I think that some humans will always have some advantage over others, whether geographical, historical, or otherwise, and will use that power to gain more wealth at the expense of the others. And no matter what system you devise to redistribute wealth more equitably, some people will be better equipped to take advantage of that system, so you’re back where you started.
